It is with immense pride and gratitude that I reflect on the remarkable journey of our school since its establishment in 2005. What began with a modest community of 250 students and 30 dedicated staff members has grown into a vibrant institution of over 2,400 students, supported by more than 300 committed members of staff. This extraordinary journey is a testament to the trust of our parents, the dedication of our educators, and the determination and achievements of generations of Lyceum. Today, we proudly stand as one of the leading educational institutions in Ratnapura.

As pioneers of international education in the city, we are committed to providing an educational experience that prepares our students not only for examinations, but for life. In an ever-changing world, we believe that true education must empower young people with knowledge, confidence, creativity, adaptability, and a strong sense of purpose. Our aim is to help every student develop a global outlook while remaining firmly grounded in national values, culture, and identity.

We remain deeply grateful for the visionary leadership and inspiration of our Founder | Chairman Emeritus – LIS Patron – LGH, Dr. Mohan Lal Grero, the guidance of our Coordinating Principal Emeritus of LIS & Patron of Institutional Values – LGH, Dr. (Mrs.) Kumari Grero, and the leadership of our Founder, Group Chairman & CEO Mr. Nikitha Grero. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and their dedication to nurturing young minds have helped shape Lyceum into an internationally recognized educational community that proudly upholds strong national values.

As someone who has grown alongside the Lyceum vision over the decades, I am honoured to be part of this remarkable journey. Looking ahead, we remain united in our commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and excellence.
