Lyceum International School Kurunegala was opened to North Western students on the 16th of September 2016. Starting with only 136 students, 15 teachers, and 6 classrooms ranging from Pre-Grade to Grade 3. The Kurunegala branch has come a long way since then, today there are over 2000 students and over 450 dedicated and highly qualified teachers, with two Four storey buildings containing 62 classrooms for Pre-primary and Grade 10 sections.
The school has quickly developed to cater to the needs of Kurunegala parents who are looking for a good English medium school for their children. The school has many facilities apart from a great academic curriculum. Lyceum Kurunegala has its own Adventure Park with a camping area that has played host to students and teachers from the other branches. The school also has an auditorium, open theatre, playground, gymnasium, swimming pool, daycare, and residences.
Within the first year, Lyceum Kurunegala students were able to win at national and international level competitions under the guidance of our experienced teachers and coaches. Many students have won accolades in Swimming, Cricket, Chess, and other sports. Other than sports, students are also accomplished in Dancing, Music, and Arts.
