Lyceum International School Nugegoda (LIS) was established on June 14, 1993 by our founder Dr. Mohan Lal Grero along with the Coordinating Principal Dr. (Mrs) Kumari Grero with the vision of providing affordable English medium education for Sri Lankan students. Situated in the heart of Nugegoda within the city’s busy urban surroundings, Lyceum International School has nurtured the minds of thousands of students over a period of 30 years.
We follow the Lyceum Curriculum up till grade 8, after Grade 8, students can choose between the Edexcel and National Curriculum. Being the first Lyceum International School, it has established itself as the benchmark and strives to maintain the standards we are known for. We have nurtured generations of students within our walls, with many going on to become successful individuals even outside school.
We offer state–of–the–art facilities, such as science laboratories, computer labs, a library, a swimming pool, playgrounds, mini-theater, and much more. Apart from excellent academic education, we provide a variety of co-curricular activities for our students.
