The 61st Sri Jayawardenapura Lyceum International School, Nugegoda, successfully conducted its annual “Knots for Life” workshop on 28th May 2025, within the school premises.
This engaging and hands-on session was led by the school’s dedicated Scout Master, Mr. Lankathilaka, and was specially curated for our enthusiastic Little Friends. The workshop focused on teaching essential knot-tying techniques—an important life skill that fosters both independence and confidence in young learners.
The Little Friends eagerly participated, learning a variety of knots and discovering their practical uses in everyday life. Their enthusiasm and curiosity brought a vibrant energy to the session, making it a truly memorable experience.
“Knots for Life” remains a cherished annual tradition at Lyceum, continuing to equip our students with the foundational skills that are core to the Little Friends journey.
