The Iftar programme for 2023 was held at Lyceum Nugegoda on the 8th of April, the Muslim students and teachers got together to organise the event. At Lyceum we believe that it is important to inculcate our core values in our children from an early age. All students are encouraged to practise their respective religions, and all religions and major religious events are celebrated at Lyceum.
The Muslim students were given an opportunity to organise and carry out Iftar at the school under the guidance of the teachers in charge. This experience allowed students to take a leadership role and learn how to organise an event. The Iftar was a success and a wholesome and fulfilling experience for all who participated.
