When Young Voices Became a Legacy at Lyceum’s SWARA – Live in Concert – Season 2 Dazzles at BMICH

The Lyceum International School Group proudly concluded SWARA | Live in Concert – Season 2, Sri Lanka’s largest school-based Eastern musical evening with truly exceptional performance that showcased artistry at BMICH.

Guided by the visionary leadership of Dr. Mohan Lal Grero, Founder of Lyceum International School, and held under the overall supervision of Dr. (Mrs.) Kumari Grero, Consultant Coordinating Principal, the concert reflected Lyceum’s enduring commitment to cultural excellence. The artistic direction and creative mastery of Visharada Dilum Niranja, the mastermind behind SWARA, elevated the production to remarkable artistic heights.

Over 750 multi-talented student vocalists from eight Lyceum branches united on one grand stage, presenting a brilliant musical journey rooted in Eastern classical traditions and enriched with Sri Lankan folk influences. Their disciplined, emotionally resonant performances captivated an audience that included diplomatic officials based in Sri Lanka, eminent artistes, and distinguished guests.

More than a concert, SWARA once again stood as a cultural milestone—where tradition found new energy, young voices shone with purpose, and the future of Eastern music was celebrated with pride.
