Currently, Mr. Hewage is the Director of Sports at Lyceum International School. He has previously worked as a Sports Injuries Management Therapist at the Ministry of Sports Medicine and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the first fifteen rugby teams at Lumbini College and Mahanama College. His experiences in state institutions have proven highly valuable during his tenure at Lyceum International Schools. Mr. Sameera Hewage holds a BTEC Level 5 HND in Sports (Health, Fitness and Exercise Science) from the UK, as well as a one-year diploma in Sports Injuries Management from the Ministry of Sports Medicine. He also has a certificate in Sports Nutrition from the National Institute of Nutrition and a Canadian Physician Nutrition Level 1 Certificate obtained online. Mr. Hewage completed a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning online program from the Australian Strength and Conditioning National Association. Further, he holds an MBA from the University of Gloucestershire. Mr. Hewage is a dedicated committee member of the Ragama Cricket Club.
