Inter International Basket Ball Tournament U19 Girls

The International Schools Under 19 Girls Basketball Tournament organized by British School Colombo was held from the 23rd September to 03rd October 2015. Lyceum International School Wattala girls team led by Mandhari Fernando played against Lyceum Panadura, CIS Colombo and Gateway Colombo in their first round matches. Lyceum Wattala beat British School at the Semi Finals and the finals were played against Lyceum Nugegoda.

In the finals Lyceum Wattala scored 64 points and became Champions, while Lyceum Nugegoda scored 47 points and became runners up

All Island Basket Ball Tournament U15 Girls

The All Island Under 15 Girls Basketball Tournament organized by Sri Lanka School Basketball Association was held from the 30th October to 1st December 2015. Lyceum International Schools' Wattala girls team led by Hazeena Abdul played against Lyceum Nugegoda, Good Shepherd Convent, Presbyterian Girls School, Ave Maria Convent and St. Joseph's College in their first round matches. Lyceum Wattala beat Presbyterian Girls School at the Semi Finals and the finals were played against Lyceum Nugegoda. 

In the finals Lyceum Wattala scored 44 points and became Champions, while Lyceum Nugegoda scored 40 points and became runners up.

Inter International School Swimming Meet

YCEUM WATTALA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS SWIMMING CHAMPIONS FOR THE 4TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR 

Lyceum International School Wattala won the Championship for the 4th consecutive year with 1262 points at the Inter International Schools Swimming Meet held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Pool on the 6th and 7th November 2015. The First Runners up trophy was won by Gateway College Colombo with 974 points and Lyceum Nugegoda became 02nd Runners up with 588 points. 

Wattala swimmers dominated the event from day one and in addition, Tevindee Methlini, Thimali Bandara and Deekshi Gunasekera showed their talents by winning the Under 10Girls Under 14 Girls, and Under 16 Girls Championships respectively. 

State Drama Festival

LYCEUM WATTALA WINNERS FOR THE 03RD CONSECUTIVE YEAR AT THE STATE CHILDREN'S DRAMA FESTIVAL 2015

The State Children’s Drama Festival organized by the the Department of Cultural Affairs

was held from the 15th September to the 23rd September 2015 at the Maradana Tower Hall . 

At the Award Ceremony held on the 06th October at the Maharagama Youth Centre, Lyceum Wattala won the most prestigious award for the Best Drama of the year in the English category, “Brighter Together”. Other awards won by Lyceum was for Best Music, Best Costume, Best Make up, and Best Stage Management. Awards for Choreography and Best Script won a merit award and 03rd place respectively. The Rising stars of Lyceum Wattala, Sakina Jusar, Sukumaran Vidyashini and Deshini Kavinsa won Merit Awards for their memorable performances.

 

Lyceum Wattala Under 17 Cricket Champions for The Second Consecutive Year

Lyceum International School Wattala Team won the Under 17 Championship for the second  consecutive year playing against Wycherly International School Colombo in the Final held, recently at Health Grounds. The tournament was organized by Wycherly  International School , Colombo.
