A glorious creative ,Art and Craft Exhibition held at Lyceum International School Kurunegala .

The Pre Primary students showed their hard work and talent with their exhibits at the Art and Craft Exhibition. Our appreciation to the Students and Teachers for their tremendous effort.


Lyceum Kurunegala has an active Dhamma School at Maliyadewa Vidyarakshaka Pirivrna, Kurunegala.
We accept students from Pre Grade to Grade 05 , who like to learn about how we can be more loving, caring , compassionate , peaceful , patient , - generous according to the Dhamma in English Medium.

An Evening of Christmas Carols

An Evening of Christmas Carols, organized by the Lyceum International School, Kurunegala was a huge success. We were truly overwhelmed by the support of our parents for their understanding and corporation despite change of venue. A big thank you to all the religious leaders in Kurunegala for their participation and blessings. Also our appreciation to all our academic , nonacademic staff, parents, students, management and the staff of Maliyadeva Girls School, Officers of Kurunegala Police Station , staff of Seylan Bank- Kurunegala and others who helped in numerous ways to make this event a success .

Lyceum Wattala - Under 19 Girls Inter International School Basketball Tournament 2017

The Inter International School Basketball Tournament 2017 for the Under 19 Girls was held on 27th September to 14th October 2017 at British School – Colombo. We became the Runners Up in the above tournament.

Lyceum Nugegoda Clenching Both U15 Championships in Basketball

Under 15 inter-international school’s basketball tournament which organized by Gateway College Colombo was held from the 6th to 14th November. Lyceum International School, Nugegoda was able to seize the championship in both girls & boys categories.

 The girls’ team emerged as the champions out of 12 international schools. At the Finals Lyceum, Wattala was the adversary of the Nugegoda team. Rallying around as a team Lyceum, Nugegoda successfully accepted the challenge emerging triumphant with a score of 40 to 28.

At the boys’ category Lyceum, Nugegoda became the champs out of 15 international schools.  Competitive Lyceum Wattala was the opponent at the finals. The match went head on with points closing up challenging each other. At the final whistle Lyceum Nugegoda conquered the game with 46 to 42.

Chenuli Galallge and Sanjaan Gunaratne became most valuable players while Nuyara Ratnayake and Ahad Rasheed became the best offensive players in the girls and the boys’ categories respectively.
