Pirith chanting ceremony at Lyceum International School

A Pirith Chanting Ceremony and an alms giving initiated by students of Lyceum Buddhist Society   was held recently, at Lyceum International School, Nugegoda.

The ceremonies were attended by the Maha Sangha led by Most Ven Bogambara Rathanajothi Thero, Chief Sanganayake,  Colombo District.

Mr.Mohan Lal Grero, founder of the Lyceum International Schools, Mrs. Kumari Grero, Coordinating Principal, Ms.Wenuri Hettiarachchi, Principal, Mr.Nikitha Grero, Director, multi religious students and parents were also present at the ceremony.

Cetus House Champions of Lyceum Inter House Senior Athletic Meet

Cetus House of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda emerged Champions collecting 260 points at the Inter-House Senior Athletic Meet held under the patronage of Mr. Vasanth Yathawaraj ,Former Head Prefect (2005/06) of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda.

Mr. Nikitha Grero, Director of Lyceum International Schools, Ms.Wenuri Hettiarachchi,Principal, Mr.Vijith Fernando, Deputy Principal, Mr. Ahamed Aslam, Deputy Principal, Mr. Nishantha Perera, Deputy Director of Sports, Mr. Sameera Pathum, Head of Sports and Mr.Gishan Mannage, Deputy Sports Coordinator were also present on the occasion. 


House positions: 

Champions  :  Cetus House  260 points 

Runners up : Ursa House  242 points

2nd Runners up  :  Aquila House  241 points

Fourth  : Cygnus House 198 Points

The State Children’s Drama Festival organized by the the Department of Cultural Affairs was held recently at the Maradana Tower Hall .

Lyceum International School Wattala won the most prestigious award for the Best Drama of the year in the English category, “Brighter Together”.

Other awards won by Lyceum International School, Wattala was for Best Music, Best Costume, Best Make up, and Best Stage Management. Awards for Choreography and Best Script won a merit award and 03rd place respectively. The Rising stars of Lyceum Wattala, Sakina Jusar, Sukumaran Vidyashini and Deshini Kavinsa won Merit Awards for their memorable performances.

Lyceum Anuradhapura Students Shine at Annual Concert

Primary students of the Lyceum International School, Anuradhapura , recently held their annual concert at Youth Council Hall, Anuradhapura.

Lyceum International School launches official website of ISAC 2016

The Inter International Schools Athletic Championship (ISAC) is scheduled to be held on 26th,27th and 28th,February 2016 at the Sugathadasa Stadium,Colombo, from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm each day.

The Championships event is fully computerized with web based entries to instantly access results and scores over the Internet through the ISAC website designed and developed by the Department of Information Technology of Lyceum International School. This dedicated website will provide all necessary information of participating schools and past meet records and a full list of competitors for this year’s meet.

Organizing committee of ISAC 2016 launched their official website at Lyceum International School, Nugegoda, recently.

Mrs. Kumari Grero, Coordinating Principal of Lyceum International Schools and the Chairperson of ISAC -  2016, Mr.Palitha Jayathilake, General Secretary of ISAC, and organizing committee members of ISAC were also present on the occasion.
