Lyceum International School has been shortlisted for the most prestigious British International School Awards 2017 under the category of INTERNATIONAL IMPACT AWARD for conducting Free English classes in a foreign setting through MLGF.
Award ceremony will be held on 23rd January 2017 in London.
Sil programme for Children of Lyceum International School, Anuradhapura was held on 22nd October at the school premises.
The Under 20 Inter -School Scrabble (Team) Tournament was held on the 24th September 2016 at Lyceum International School -Nugegoda.
Lyceum Wattala team comprising of Thavalakshman Yoganathan (Captain), Migara Jayasinghe, Janidu Karunaratne, Nusrath Sariffo'deen and Akshai Yogalingam emerged Champions in the 'A' Division. The Chief Guest for both the above tournaments was Mr. Khandan Mahendran President of the Sri Lanka Scrabble League.
In the Under 20 Inter-School Scrabble Tournament (Individual) School Scrabbler of the Year 2016 Thavalakshman Yoganathan became the 4th. Migara Jayasinghe and Janidu Karunaratne was placed 10th and 11th respectively. This was held on 01st October 2016 at HSBC-Town Hall. The tournament was organized by the Sri Lanka Scrabble League(SLSL).
Migara Jayasinghe and Janidu Karunaratne of Lyceum International School Wattala, became Champions and Runners up respectively in the Sri Lanka Masters Scrabble Championship 2016 “Plate Division”. This is an open age group tournament where the top 16 players of Sri Lanka participate.
The Under 14 Badminton team of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda were champions at the All Island “C” Division Badminton Championship which was organized by the Schools’ Badminton Association & Richmond College, Galleheld at Hapugala Engineering Faculty & Richmond College, Galle, recently.
In the final match Lyceum International School, Nugegoda won the championship beating Sujatha Vidyalaya Matara.

Lyceum International School, Kurunegala took a step forward to help the victims of drought hit areas in the Polonnaruwa District by organizing a donation program to distribute water bottles to two schools, Thalpotha Rathnasara Vidyalaya and Kagalugama Junior School, recently. This project was carried out under the guidance of Mr Nikitha Grero, Principal/Director Lyceum international School, Kurunegala.
