The Under 14 Badminton team of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda were champions at the All Island “C” Division Badminton Championship which was organized by the Schools’ Badminton Association & Richmond College, Galleheld at Hapugala Engineering Faculty & Richmond College, Galle, recently.
In the final match Lyceum International School, Nugegoda won the championship beating Sujatha Vidyalaya Matara.

Lyceum International School, Kurunegala took a step forward to help the victims of drought hit areas in the Polonnaruwa District by organizing a donation program to distribute water bottles to two schools, Thalpotha Rathnasara Vidyalaya and Kagalugama Junior School, recently. This project was carried out under the guidance of Mr Nikitha Grero, Principal/Director Lyceum international School, Kurunegala.

Lyceum International School Wattala, Girls became champions once again at the Inter International Schools basketball tournament which concluded on the 4th of October 2016. The tournament which was organized by The British School in Colombo, was held at the British School Indoor Courts from 15th September 2016 on wards.
Lyceum Girls were unbeaten since the beginning of the tournament and at the finals they played against Gateway Colombo to win the Championship. Final Scores 43/41
In the first round Lyceum Wattala, beat Gateway Kandy and Asian International and at the semi finals they beat Gateway Colombo.
Lyceum Wattala Boys who became runners - up when they lost to Asian International School at the finals. Final scores 81/63
The boys were unbeaten in the first and second round as they played against CIS Colombo, Gateway Kandy and CIS Kandy .
The all island under 17 (Division III) cricket tournament was organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association Colombo, recently.
Lyceum International School , Wattala reached the finals by beating - D.S. Senanayake College , Colombo in the Pre Quarter match by 71 runs (score 273/8 in 50 overs-202 all out in 45.5overs). The Quarter Finals played against Kekirawa Central College was won with a score of 276 in 46.1 overs-85 in 21.1 overs, and the Semi Finals played with Galahitiyawa Central College, Lyceum won with a score of 206/4 in 31.1 overs-202/9 in 50overs.
The final match was played against St Benedict's College, Colombo and Lyceum won by 13 runs (score 270 in 44overs - 257/7 in 50 overs. Lyceum Wattala participated in this event for the first time and became Champions in the U 17 School's Division III Tournament. The Special Award for the Man of the Final was won by Shabiq Ifthary of Lyceum International School Wattala.

Kurunegala branch of Lyceum Group of international Schools was ceremonially opened at No.71, Udawalpola Road, Kurunegala recently. The ceremony was graced by Hon. Kavinda Jayawardane, Member of Parliament for Gampaha District and Chairman of National Youth Front.
