Admission to any Lyceum International School is very competitive and parents who wish to enroll their children at Lyceum must inquire from the respective school regarding vacancies ahead of the closing date for applications. This information can be obtained by telephone or by e mail. If vacancies exist for the required grade, the parents and the child should visit the respective school and meet the Registrar/Admission Secretary by prior appointment. Appointments will be granted between 8.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Following the interview an admission test will be conducted and if all criteria are fulfilled an application form will be issued by the school. If the child is selected for admission it is mandatory that the parents should enter into a contract with the school undertaking to abide by all the rules and regulations of the school.
The minimum age for the nursery is 2 ½ years as at 15th September of the year of admission. The age limits for other grades are indicated in the table.

A child should be less than 18 years to join a grade 11 class. If a child exceeds the required age for a particular grade he / she may be denied admission. The Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar General’s Department of Sri Lanka is the only document the school accepts to confirm the age of the child.
The placement of the child as a student of a Lyceum International School shall be solely decided by the administration of the school. It is based on a number of factors including the age, previous school records, and the child’s ability to follow the work done in a particular grade where the placement is sort.
